Admission Criteria for NITs, IITs, and CFTIs | For B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Plan : Minimum 75 per cent marks (65 per cent for SC/ST category) or should come under the top 20 percentile. For B.Arch in institutes other than NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs: 50 per cent aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in the 10+ 2 or equivalent examinations. |

Step 1 | Registration: 1. Visit the official website of JEE Main – https://jeemain.nta.ac.in. 2. Click on the online JEE Main 2024 application form | Login: Since JEE Advanced form can be filled by candidates who qualify the JEE Main cutoff, only such candidates can register for JEE Advanced. Login with JEE Main 2024 application number and password. |
Step 2 – Application Form: | Aspirants need to fill their personal, academic, and contact details in the JEE Main application form 2024 and note down system generated application number.

Step 3 – Upload scanned documents |

Step 4: Pay the application fee. | Candidates can pay the application fees only on online mode. For online payment, candidates can pay through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/Paytm/UPI. Male candidates of Unreserved/ EWS/OBC category For Centres in India – INR 1,000 For Centres Outside India – INR 5,000 Female candidates in the Unreserved/EWS/OBC category For Centres in India – INR 800 For Centres Outside India – 4,000 SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category candidates For Centres in India – INR 500 For Centres Outside India – 2,500 | Candidates can pay the application fees only on online mode. Step 5: Print registration receipt. | The last step is to take four printouts of the confirmation page, after the successful payment of JEE Main application fees.
